ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT
BBA department started during the year 2009 with 25 students and one staff. From the year 2011 June onwards the department functions with 4 staff and 150 students and 50 in each class. Totally 10 batches of students got their degree successfully.
With an objective of motivating and fascinating budding managers, the Department of Business Administration was designed to give a broad knowledge of the functional areas of a corporate company to build emerging business leaders on professional and theoretical knowledge, it was effectively intended for today business environment, the highlights of the BBA courses students can expose to a variety of core subject such as human resource management, financial management, marketing, production management and allow students to specialize in a specific academic area. The degree also develops the student’s practical managerial skill, communication skills, and business decision-making ability, marketing strategy and also to prepare appropriate business documents. On consistent and good academic performance, the department encourages participation in the co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to bring out the latent talents in its students.
The pedagogy of the BBA program consists of lectures, Research Projects, case studies, seminars, workshops, management quiz, and other student centric activities. To update the knowledge and have a practical exposure the department organizes seminars and industrial visits. The programme is designed to bridge the gap between conceptual learning and practical application and to inculcate professional and managerial expertise.
